Men’s Cross Country Wins United Way Invitational

October 10th – The St. Stephens men’s cross country team competed in the United Way Invitational Championship Race, and finished in first place. Tyler Christensen finished 1st with a time of 16:32. Other team members that finished in the top 10 were Jeremy Brown (6th), Jackson Black (9th) and Issac Cruz (10th). Go Indians!

Volleyball Senior Night – this Thursday, October 10th!

The St. Stephens volleyball team’s Senior Night will be this Thursday, October 10th vs. West Iredell. Please make plans to come out and celebrate our seniors! JV will start at 4:30, with varsity to follow.

The Indians celebrated the end of Homecoming Week in winning fashion, defeating the visiting McDowell Titans 28-7. The Indians had over 330 yards of total offense, and three takeaways on defense. This win moves the Indians to a record of 3-3 (1-1).

Powderpuff Game Set for October 1st

Don’t have any plans on Tuesday, October 1st? Then come out and watch the Sophomore/Senior team take on the Freshman/Junior team at the annual St. Stephens Powderpuff Football game at 7:00pm. Game will be held on the football field. Admission is only $5! Please come support our athletic programs and our student athletes.

Z. McLauchlin – Farm Bureau Catawba Valley Athlete of the Week

Indians running back Zak McLauchlin was named the Farm Bureau Catawba Valley Athlete of the Week for his performance in the Indians’ victory last Friday night against Fred T. Foard. McLauchlin ran for 188 yards and scored two touchdowns. Congratulations, Zak!
